Clarke Gannon can longer deny her feelings for dragon-shifter Naelen Spencer. Unfortunately, her feelings for gargoyle Logan Gray haven’t gone away. Not super in-depth, but still a good read?
Just too much introspection for the main character. Also, what did I miss? Santa and reindeer? When was that? Book was entertaing
Again I say I love this book! This is closer to true life relationships than the others. As much as I love Anita Blake, the Author is right. Where is the angst and hardships for the men? I'm excited to see what happens with the Green King and Penny as well. I do love those stories too. I am hoping this will be a good crossover like the St. Nokken short, but not be as short. I really feel for these characters as I have always connected with Clarke on a more deeper level than Penny. At least until she had her baby. Anyways great read!! Thank you!
The writers inability to create an ending is really getting on my last nerve. If she was writing a monthly serial she could maybe get away with it but months between books means when the "ending" comes out (which is not guaranteed seeing as this it touted as a trilogy) I'm going to have ceased caring.
This "sort of thing" is done better in other books. Our main character goes through some seriously unhealthy relationship moments. Oh but their damaged...Don't care. And the way she lets all the pushing around happen until the VERY end, where she almost speaks for herself and then doesn't, goes on to continue to let everyone decide things for her drove me CRAZY. She was such a doormat. The. Whole. Book. Strong women readers need not apply here. Go get your kinks in better books. I liked the 1st in series, but this train has derailed.
Great series of books. Bought them for my step daughter but I love them too!!!
Loved the book. Have enjoyed all three of them...can't wait for number 4.
